A parish council icode of conduct is a set of rules that regulates the behaviour of councillors.
It is based on the Localism Act 2011 and the Seven Principles of Public Life.
Councillors must abide by the code of conduct and it applies to councillors whenever they conduct the business of the council or act as its representative. The code of conduct aims to promote and maintain high standards of conduct by councillors.
